The Macedon Center Fire Department is 100% volunteer organization that is located in the town of Macedon, Wayne County, New York.  We offer fire and rescue services to those residents who live within the Macedon Center fire protection district and mutual aid to neighboring departments in the towns of Macedon and Walworth or any other fire department who asks for us.

Fire Protection District

The Macedon Center fire protection district is bordered by the Erie Canal on the south side, Daansen Road on the east side, County Line Road on the west side and sections of Gananda Parkway on the north side.  In Gananda, we protect Waterford Road to Pineview Drive and Pineview Drive to State Route 350.  Also included in Gananda are the Evergreen Hills apartments and new homes off of Evergreen Hills Drive.  Our district is primarily residential, but does contain some commercial and industrial buildings.  We have the Richard Mann Elementary School and Gananda High in our protection district.  There is also alot of farm land within our district.
